Look at that lobby

The restoration crew has scraped the tin ceiling, plasterers have resurfaced the walls and the paint crew has given it the first primer coat. The primer preps the surface for painting, but also helps to reveal imperfections and areas that need more work. The crew will do more scraping and caulking before applying the second coat.

The primer also shows that Bob Feeley’s plaster replacement panels are indistinguishable from the original tin ceiling once they’ve been painted.
